Reviews of NSW Taxi Council
"The comments are true that they don't get back to you. Spoke to an indian guy called Jay who was stalling me saying it wasnt the councils responsibility to help if you couldnt get on to 13 cabs because their only number that reponds is a auto booking ph number!!! Theis taxi council company was supposed to call me back last week about a violent incident with an african male driver and they strangely seem to have ignored my inquiry completely as though they get so many complaints of is violent drivers that the os reps at the council are tired of dealing with them!."
"There should be an independent section of the Taxi Council to hear complaints against drivers or operators. For those of us living in smaller communities, where there is no alternative service provider, lodging a complaint with the very organization with which we are dissatisfied, can carry extra unwanted consequences."
"They don't respond all the time. I would like to know as a paying member what was the out come of the meeting on the 24th of March this year. Who attended Martin Richards, Nick Abrahim, sent me an email stating this meeting took place. No feed back."
"I'm on the mid north coast. I've tried to contact these people. But they make defamatory statements and remarks at me. Not responding as I've made a complaint about two cab companies. They don't respond they stuff you round won't even do their job properly. Pisses me off."
"Little they’ve done in times of need. Looks like they didn’t want to or couldn’t do much when Sydney Airport decided to decommission its short fare system which has helped countless numbers of drivers bring home a fair days pay for a fair days work for decades. Now there are probably hundreds of drivers on the brink of ruin for its not uncommon now as a taxi driver to bring home $350 per day with car costs and fuel and tolls costing about $300 it’s not uncommon for drivers to work 14 hours for $50 per day before tax. It’s another case of those comfortable in society making decisions to make sure those struggling in society now struggle even more."
