In light of the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we want to assure you that patients are no longer required to undergo a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) prior to their appointment with a MetWest Ophthalmologist. However, if you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms, we kindly request that you reschedule your appointment. As NSW Health still has hospitals at Amber Alert, surgical patients who are not vaccinated are still requested to undergo a RAT prior to their surgery.

"A patient under your care who makes an appointment for 7:40am (as their driver also has to attend work) should not have to wait until 8:15am for Dr Gorbatov to arrive. 2 appointments post surgery with this Dr and the first time he shows up at 8am, the 2nd time 8:15am; both appointments booked for 7:40am. The time is now 8:33am and the patient is yet to be seen. I am disappointed in your lack of care and concern for people's time, especially their support network who also have work to attend. Would not recommend this place or doctor to anyone."
