Prior to establishing Fioro Legal, Fiona worked at global firm Herbert Smith Freehills, advising prominent organizations such as Westpac Banking Corporation, Suncorp, QBE, and more. Fiona's expertise includes representing clients in commercial disputes and litigation, regulatory investigations, and mediation.
In addition to her commercial experience, Fiona also advises individuals and families on wills, estate planning, and probate matters. Her background in financial services and superannuation allows her to provide comprehensive guidance in these areas. Fiona's qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Laws (Honours I) from Macquarie University and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Law (Wills and Estates) from the College of Law (NSW).
Julia, another member of our legal team, brings a wealth of experience from her time at international law firm Allens and the Office of the General Counsel at Macquarie University. She is a linguist, fluent in Spanish and competent in Japanese, French, and German. Julia's practice areas at Fioro Legal include corporate and commercial, property, and wills & estates.
Marie, a senior lawyer with a diverse background in law since 1987, has a keen interest in Succession Law and recently completed a Master of Laws specializing in Wills and Estates with the College of Law. She has extensive experience in civil litigation, representing clients in personal injury and insurance claims. Marie has also worked in conveyancing, commercial law, strata law, insolvency, bankruptcy, debt recovery, and family law. Her qualifications include a Master of Laws (Wills & Estates) from the College of Law (NSW) and a Bachelor of Laws from Southern Cross University.
