"Consistently good every visit! And great veg options! My friend dreams about the Chinese Broccoli with garlic - it’s seriously that good. Vegetarian dumplings both pan fried and with the chilli peanut sauce are delicious. Peanut chilli sauce is definitely not spicy so still enjoyable for those with low tolerance. Shanghai noodles are so flavourful and the noodles are fresh and perfectly cooked each time."
"We went to the little Bourke Street branch on a Wednesday evening. There was a queue but it went quick and we didn’t feel the time as we were able to preorder in the queue before being seated. They were super quick in bringing out our dishes and I ordered a take away which was also very quick to be brought out. We got: Vegetable bun - they were a good size, came in 4 and delicious filling. Prawn and chicken wonton in peanut and chilli sauce. A nice big portion and the sauce was nice & peanutty. The wontons were a perfect one biter and a very nice silky texture. Silken tofu and preserved egg. A great dose dish. Can’t really go wrong with this. The sauce wasn’t too salty and flavored the tofu well. I would have liked a bit more egg though. Choi sum with garlic sauce - a nice big portion and cooked well. For take away I ordered the cold appetizers of quarter marinated duck, a quarter chicken in the peanut and chili sauce and the custard egg yolk buns. I had them the night after and they were still delicious. The duck was a little bland but was cooked well and the chicken was great with the sauce. The buns were nice and soft - I popped them in the microwave for 30 seconds and they were nice and hot like they were just done. Super cheap eat! All that came to $80. Also a free hot tea and water station available. Highly recommend. It’s no wonder they alway have a queue."
"Fantastic dumplings. We waited for about 20 minutes for a table, but since you give your order while waiting in line, food started arriving to table within minutes. BYO wine made this a really great value meal with friends. There is also free self-serve tea. Everything was delicious, but favorites were the fried green beans, salt & pepper soft shell crab, Xiao long Bao, eggplant with minced pork & the pork belly with pepper sauce."
"We had lunch here and even though we didn’t make a booking and waited in the queue, the staff gave us the order sheet so we can pre order our food in advance (good idea though). The service was extremely fast, food was delicious and the portion size is big as well. You will be full once finished."
"Best dumplings in town! Can’t go wrong with their pork dumplings. Also highly recommend trying their green beans, cooked perfectly and packed with flavor."
