"First class service from Hasan at Aquila Bondi Junction. He sorted me out with two pairs of shoes and two belts. Chased down a pair of boots in my size from two different locations and had them send pics first so I was sure I like the dye colour before having them sent to Bondi. As I’m getting heel and sole protector on the boots - also from Bondi junction - Hasan offered to walk them there himself once they arrive so I only have to collect once. Legend. Will buy my shoes here again."
"Having purchased a number of items from Aquila recently from a number of stores and online, I have to say how unhappy I am with the store manager at the BONDI Jnc store. Went in to exchange 2 pairs of shoes as one pair was faulty and the other pair was sent with both shoes in differing sizing. We had been greeted first by an advisor who wanted to check what we could and couldn't do re exchanging with her manager. She informed us that we couldn't make an exchange in the store as the shoes had been bought on-line. We asked to speak with the manager as we had recently exchanged a previous faulty pair in store. The manager came out and told us she was on her lunch! After asking to see proof of purchase, checking stock and telling us we couldn't exchange or be refunded, we argued the case due to our previous experience with other staff. She then accepted the refund! Whilst we appreciate a process is in place for particular reasons - its not the customers problem nor should a customer have to understand internal protocol. The manager in question would benefit from service recovery training and be guided into offering a more succinct approach in dealing with customer issues. Very disappointing as we had both been in a week earlier and had excellent service from another member of staff. Put off from buying from Aquila."
