Welcome to Narrabeen Lagoon State Park, located in the stunning surroundings of Narrabeen Lakes, New South Wales, Australia. As a renowned establishment, park, and tourist attraction, Narrabeen Lagoon offers visitors a range of activities and natural beauty to enjoy.
Narrabeen Lagoon is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, offering opportunities for bushwalking, various water sports, and simply relaxing in one of Sydney's most breathtaking environments. It is also considered one of the northern beaches' greatest natural assets and is teeming with wildlife.
Thanks to the recently improved Multi-use Trail, access to the largest coastal lagoon on the northern beaches has become even easier. This 8.4km loop trail is suitable for walkers, cyclists, and people of all abilities, featuring a well-formed, shared track without steps. Along the trail, you'll journey through beautiful ecosystems, encountering an abundance of wildlife, cultural heritage, and historical sites.
You can access the award-winning Narrabeen Lagoon trail from multiple points, such as Jamieson Park and Berry Reserve. Additionally, there are plenty of carparks, picnic areas, playgrounds, and boating ramps scattered around the lagoon, ensuring convenience for all visitors.
Please note that while dogs are allowed on the trail, they must be kept on a leash. Several wildlife protection areas prohibit dogs for the safety and preservation of the local fauna.
If you're planning to visit Berry Reserve, you can easily reach it by bus. For bus information and timetables, please visit Transport NSW.
For those arriving by car, parking is available at Middle Creek Reserve off the Wakehurst Parkway, Berry Reserve off Pittwater Road, and Jamieson Park off The Esplanade.
Lastly, we would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians and their Country on which Narrabeen Lagoon State Park is situated. By expressing our respect through these words, we honor all Aboriginal people, past, present, and emerging, as well as the spirits and ancestors of the Clans that once thrived in this area.

"Did a small portion walk only. Lovely walk through the forest. Many cycle enthusiasts. Safe walk with a toodler. Pram accessible with little bumpy ride. Lovely sunset view at Pipeclay point in Jameison Park."
"A lovely walk around the Narrabeen Lagoon. So much to see and somewhere during this loop track, you come across shops. And hey I saw a full rainbow for the first time in the walks I do!"
"Love going around the lagoon on the board walk"
"If you are attracted by and enjoy the scenery of the landscape by the water which is reflecting your surroundings in colors that only nature can create in such quantity and variety, disturbed by the silence and the birds' chirps and the loud laughter of laughing kookaburra and sulpher krested cockatoo surrounded by suptropical forest .This is place is ideal to avoid the daily routine which unconsciously choking you day in and day out, you can ride a bike, walk or jog if you are fit enough, the longer you are on the trial you will meet the same people two or three times in the lane, it must be some reason to keep them going on and on"
"Probably the best Park for a short weekend hike. Parking is expensive at the official entrance point but if you intend to walk around the lake, you can park for free at Wimbledon Avenue also."
