"This is a good level hike with varying degrees of terrain that gives you a good degree of experience in hiking on National Park trails... it is also an excellent place to stay for overnight camping ... if you are well equipped, you would have not a problem with even younger children... but! you might need to do some carrying if you're taking very younger kids... I consider this a place where you go for the value gained in actual hiking there. An overnight camping trip certainly will add that special extra dimension. It's relatively easy to get to, use common sense, a decent navigation app, and make sure to look for the trail when you are unclear where it is at the times when you cross rocky places, you will be fine."
"Great place to camp, was fabulous with full moon, cooking water was available in the creek. Walked extra to Leochares peak lookout (part of GNW), it provides amazing views over the whole area and well worth the extra walk."
"Beautiful remote location - Pindar Cave is worth the visit or even a great place to camp too. We did the moderate walk from Wondabyne Station, some firetrail sections and single track. Also walked on to the Pindar waterfall, definitely recommend."
"Great spot to camp! Pool was full when we went. Walk in is 3 hours from Wondabyne - fire trail for the first 2km and then overgrown with spikey sections for the next 4km. There was a plenty of water dripping from the cave overhang so no need to bring cooking water - pending if there has been recent rain."
"Pleasant short walk. With a nice place to camp. Was a bit busy with other campers there."
