In line with our dedication to creating enjoyable recreational spaces, we are currently upgrading Barton Park in Banksia. This transformation will cater to a variety of activities, including organized sports and family outings. With accessible facilities, good lighting, and walking and cycling connections, Barton Park will become a hub for outdoor enjoyment.

Another exciting project we are working on is the redevelopment of the beloved Botany Aquatic Centre. This redevelopment includes the reintroduction of our favorite water slides, the construction of an adventure waterplay area, and the addition of an indoor pool for year-long learning programs. We are committed to providing a state-of-the-art aquatic facility for the community to enjoy.

At Bayside Council, we strongly support the Uluru Statement from the Heart, aligning with our REFLECT Reconciliation Action Plan. We acknowledge and pay our respects to the Traditional custodians of the land, the Gadigal/Bidjigal people of the Eora Nation. The spirit and ancestors of the Eora Nation will always remain connected to our waterways and land, serving as a reminder of our deep connection to Mother Earth.
