"Fix the parking. It is an absolute joke! I've been sent here twice now for procedures and have been unable to park on either occasion. The car park barriers let you in but there are no spaces available. There should be signs stating the number of available spaces and signs showing alternate parking close by. Both times I had to park a considerable distance away. Not good with a dodgy hip and knee. The parking area is poorly designed, too small and badly managed. The next time I'm referred to a specialist at NorWest Private I wont go. I'll insist that the doctor finds somewhere more convenient. While the hospital might be closer, it costs you more time trying to find a local place to park. Not a good experience."

"I recently gave birth at Norwest Private Hospital. This hospital does not have enough staff which is so disappointing. I had the worst experience on the most important day of my life. I went into labour on 4th June and was admitted to hospital at 2:30 pm that day. I was looked after well till 8pm after that there was no staff available. It was Sunday night and only one midwife was looking after all the deliveries. I was 10 cm dilated at 2 am on 5th June, 2023 and was made to wait for 3 hours to start pushing my baby out. I was not told why. By 5 am there were no contractions and obs had used vacuum cup to extract my baby which resulted in partial thickness laceration wound on my baby’s scalp which has not healed yet. I didn’t expect that treatment in a private hospital. It was the worst experience of my life and would not recommend this hospital for maternity at all. I’m furious as no one cared about me or my baby. In addition I did provide them feedback internally and they have not contacted me back as they don’t care at all."

"I fractured my ankle walking my dogs. I was put in an ambulance yesterday afternoon and taken here. My partner was wheeling me in a wheel chair through the hospital while I was in severe agony and a staff member by the name of Girlie felt insulted she had to hold the door open for me and my partner to get back to my ward. She was wide eyed and crazy yelled at me WHAT ARE YOU STARING AT while I was being wheeled through. My partner and I were shocked and I told him don’t worry she’s probably had a bad day. I was discharged and was lucky enough to have her take my payment on the way out of $515. This person snatched my credit card out of my hand , threw my paperwork at me. I told her I want her name and her managers number. She gladly wrote it down and said I’ll even give you my managers name with a smirk. a disgrace to the private health system and Norwest hospital and she ruined my entire night while I was in severe agony and distressed. TO ADD to this , I provided my contact details to them as per their request below so they can follow up with me (no follow up) disgraceful place. You’ll get better care at Westmead government hospital."

"My experience at Norwest Private Hospital while delivering my son was truly exceptional. The surgery team displayed outstanding professionalism and expertise, ensuring my safety and comfort throughout the process. The majority of the nurses were amazing, providing excellent care and going above and beyond to address my needs. Although the room for three people was small, it didn't overshadow the exceptional care I received. It became a funny anecdote that the TV in the room was comically small, with my tablet actually being bigger! Despite these minor quirks, I highly recommend Norwest Private Hospital for their great team and attentive care. It was an overall positive experience, and I am grateful for the exceptional care provided during this special time."
