Welcome to Western Sydney University Gym, Kingswood! Located at Second Avenue in Kingswood, our establishment is more than just a gym – we are a hub for health, fitness, and overall wellness in the Western Sydney community.
At Western Sydney University Health and Fitness Centres, our mission is to connect Campus to Community by improving the quality of people's lives. We believe in the power of an active lifestyle, complemented by a healthy, balanced diet and regular self-care. By encouraging and promoting these practices, we aim to enhance the overall well-being of our members.
In addition to being a gym, we also offer YMCA Out of School Care (OSHC) centers. As a Public Benevolent Institution registered as a Charity, YMCA of Sydney Youth and Community Services Incorporated is dedicated to serving the community. We acknowledge and respect the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters on which we come together. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, as well as young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, who hold the continuation of cultural, spiritual, and educational practices in their hands.
Our establishment is proud to hold an Australian Business Number (ABN) of 28 067 150 010 and a Charitable Fundraising Number (CFN) of CFN/21379. These numbers reflect our commitment to transparency and accountability in our operations.

"Staff are nice and friendly. Equipment are average (some of them look very outdated and some look decent) and its not an aesthetically pleasing gym. There are air ducts running through the roof of the gym floor and the lighting is nothing special. Can also get quite busy for a small gym. For only 2 available locations and memberships from $16 per week, i would suggest going with something that has better equipment and visuals to get a better bang for your buck as $16 is quite expensive for the quality"
"Been going here since 2003 when I was at uni definitely changed since back in the day prices have roughly stayed the same since all those years before COVID-19 casual fee was $7.5 before Covid-19 hit, after coming back after 3.5 month lockdown and the prices jumped to $18.5 what the hell. I have now moved on to a local gym branch at which they are at 2 local suburbs I travel between i can go to either of them and there $5 casual fee is great and they have heaps of updated compound movement equipment. May 2022 Update.. My very last gym session spoke to one of the attendees in the morning YMCA bought the gym not owned by the uni anymore. Overpriced it’s not like your offering sauna a pool, tv doesn’t even work at this gym no sports channel and you’re asking for $18.50, equipment outdated. I’m happy now at my new gym."
"A great place to work out. The equipment is well-maintained and it's not too crowded most of the time. The Y-Fit (their own take on CrossFit) classes are challenging but fun."
"From the first moment I walked in I felt comfortable. The lady at the front desk was so welcoming and friendly and she really helped me with the process. The staff have been so friendly and it is not overwhelming or daunting walking in"
"Gym is very well run. Always clean with all equipment in good order. Staff know what they're doing and take great care with Covid cleaning. Always a pleasant gym to attend and push my limits. A credit to all involved."
