The Nepean Clinical School is a part of the Sydney Medical School and is situated in the Nepean Hospital precinct, nestled at the base of the picturesque Blue Mountains near Penrith. As part of the $1 billion Nepean Redevelopment Project, the Nepean Hospital precinct is currently undergoing significant growth. This expansion will enable the hospital to cater to communities within and beyond Sydney's western suburbs, offering world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.

At Nepean Clinical School, we support approximately 50 students in each year of the MD course. With a relatively high patient load compared to the student population, our institution provides invaluable learning experiences for medical students and research opportunities for both Australian and international students.

Our school operates from two sites – the Nepean Clinical School Building and Level 5 South Block, Nepean Hospital. The Nepean Clinical School Building, constructed in 2012, is a modern facility that houses educational spaces, clinical school administration, clinical research pods, and NBMLHD outpatient clinics. It features a 90-seat auditorium, tutorial rooms, computer labs, and a large interactive clinical skills and teaching space. Additionally, we have dedicated research laboratories for postgraduate research students.
