They refused to price match nor take it back as It was used once only. Beware, price check with other stores before buying there. This item was 30% over priced. Marlene."

"I have never been treated so badly in any store as I was yesterday. Your employee with the brown curly hair was so unpleasant and unnecessarily rude to me. I was merely looking at a marble stand and she was very abrupt and discourteous. I have purchased many items from your store in the past, so I know your store is better than this. I am disappointed and stunned you allow someone like this to ruin your store. She needs to be booted out immediately."

"Please don’t order anything from this store online. They are scammers - I ordered $150 worth of stuff. Half my order arrived 3 months after the purchase date. Another 3 months later they sent an email saying they didn’t fulfil the order as the items were out of stock. They then promised a refund within 10-14 business days. It’s been 5 months and nothing. There’s no way to contact them easily and even if you manage to get through the staff have no idea what’s going on and how to resolve it. I assumed this would be safe store to order from due to its international reputation. Unfortunately I was very wrong Note: Pottery Barn is also owned by the same people and has similar reviews to mine. Stay away from both stores, I guess I should be thankful I’m only out $80 instead of thousands like other shoppers"

"Had a really poor experience with a click and collect order at this store. Ordered an item online and the turn around time quoted online for click and collect is 4 hours. 24 hours pass and nothing, no phone call with an update or an email letting me know when it will be ready. I call the store 5 times and no answer on any occasion. Call the 1800 number on their website. The lady thankfully answered and was friendly but far from helpful, saying the only thing that can be done is to call the store. Given the store never answered for me I asked if she could call on my behalf. She declined. So I call the store 5 more times. 5 more times they didn’t answer. Delightful. A few days pass and I check the online status and it still says order pending fulfilment. I call the store and finally someone answers. She informs me they are out of stock of the item, which had I known that 5 days ago I would have ordered online and it be shipped to my home. I asked her if she could cancel the order but that’s something she can’t do and I must call the 1800 number. She informs me that two stores in VIC have the item in stock. She is unable to order the item from those store for me and that I must call those stores directly. So I speak to another lady on the 1800 number to cancel the order which she does. She informs me the refund will take 3-5 days. Which is strange as I paid on a William Sonoma gift card and any reasonable person would expect that it would be refunded immediately. Now I have to wait another 5 days on top of the 5 I’ve already waited to order the item, and then I have to wait for it to be shipped out. Receiving this gift card has been far from a gift. The staff are friendly but rather incompetent and wouldn’t know customer service if it smacked them in the face. So unhelpful and a very frustrating experience. tl;dr don’t order anything from this store as they can’t fulfil orders or provide customer service of any kind."

"Nice stuff but terrible service. Ordered something months ago from the website and it still hasn't shipped. They emailed me a few time saying it was out of stock and the shipping date is pushed out. They gave me the option of cancelling my order but I had to call a 1800 number for that. Got someone in America who I could barely understand because the connection of the line was so poor. I don't know if she ended up cancelling my order or not and now they have stopped replying to emails. They don't really seem set up for servicing Australia."
