Sydney Gymnastic and Aquatic Centre
About the Business
Welcome to Sydney Gymnastic and Aquatic Centre (SGAC), Sydney's leading family-friendly Gymnastic and Aquatic Centre located at Rooty Hill, North Parade, 12. SGAC is an establishment and point of interest that prides itself on providing access to all people regardless of ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
At SGAC, we understand the importance of swimming as an essential life skill for children. That's why we offer a range of swimming programs for all ages and skill levels. Our Preschoolers program is perfect for young children to start building their water confidence and learning the basics of swimming. For school-aged children, our program encourages them to become water confident while achieving important swimming skills. As they progress, they can join our advanced School Aged program to further develop their swimming abilities.
But swimming lessons aren't just for children. We believe that adults can also benefit from learning how to swim. Our adult swimming program is designed to help adults overcome any fears or barriers they may have and become confident swimmers.
In addition to our swimming programs, SGAC also offers a wide range of gymnastics classes for children of all ages. Our Kinder Programs cater to children aged 18 months to 5 years old, providing a fun and interactive learning environment. As children grow, they can join our Gym Fun and Gym Skills classes to develop their fundamental gymnastics skills. We also offer specialized programs such as Team Gym, Trampoline Gymnastics, Acrobatic Gymnastics, Women's Gymnastics, and Men's Artistic Gymnastics, catering to different interests and skill levels.
For those who prefer low impact workouts, SGAC offers Aqua Group Fitness Classes. These water-based fitness classes are suitable for all ages and abilities, providing a great way to improve strength and flexibility.
For our older members, we have the Fitter of Life program aimed at helping over 55's improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and flexibility. This program is designed to keep you active and healthy in a supportive and inclusive environment.
When you join SGAC, you don't just join a gym, you join a family. Our experienced coaches and staff work hard to provide a safe and inclusive sports environment for everyone. We prioritize the development of individuals within a friendly team atmosphere.
At SGAC, we not only provide world-class equipment and facilities, but we also create a sense of family and embrace our diverse culture. We are proud to have created a community of "SGAC gym families" who support and encourage each other.
So whether you're looking to learn how to swim, improve your gymnastics skills, or stay fit and active, Sydney Gymnastic and Aquatic Centre is the ideal place for you. Join our family today and experience the SGAC difference.

"My child has attended SGAC for almost 3 years, but recently in last few months I have noticed no progress in his swimming as there's 5-6 kids in one 30 min class , so each child gets like only 5-6 minutes of swimming . Also once you cancel membership with them they don't care anymore, I booked a makeup lesson, SGAC portal did let me mark absent and book makeup lesson. But i was denied access in the class cuz the reception says our contract is finished ( makeup lesson was for the class before the contract ended) Which made our last visit very unpleasant. Most of the swimming instructors are nice though."
"Highly recommend swimming instructor Bree. She shows high knowledge of both swimming and safety skills in water. She Provides a fun and educational swimming lesson experience for both participants and parents. Observes and enforces all rules and regulations of the facility to prevent accidents or emergency situations. Bree Educates class participants to their individual emotional & physical well being. Her work needs to be commended. Having a child who had no swimming knowledge or safety around water to a child who has elevated 4 swimming levels in 6 months due to her ongoing dedication, teaching & support along side her colleagues."
"My two kids have been this center more than 4 years, i need to say excellent swimming teachers and customer’s’ service. Have no issue for these 4 years. Kids enjoyed, and parents satisfied. However, it totally changed in these two weeks in customers’ service team. Called and emailed for help to do absent class, so late replying back and every team member told different answers, so ridiculous! Customer service team need to well training, especially the customer service manager Danielle need to be professional training. And She only can accept she talked over customers, otherwise she said that’s no respect to her. Please, be professional."
"Have been a member for 1+ year. Not all reception staff are friendly, likewise not all staff are rude. Depends on your luck on that day. Child attends swimming lessons, some teachers are better than others. But all are good. Some of their gymnastics teachers are too young & tend to not focus on individual child. Parents’ Seating area for viewing is very nice. The swimming pool’s changing rooms need more cleaning; floor is always dirty , slippery with lots of hair."
