The name "Yirran Gumal" holds great significance, as it means "Many forms of Friendship" in the local Aboriginal language. We deeply respect and acknowledge the First Nations People, as well as the fact that we are situated on Gadigal land. Our pedagogical practice incorporates this recognition and aims to honor the rich culture, traditions, and knowledge of the Gadigal people. We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive space for everyone and strive to close the gap for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people by continually learning about Indigenous ways of being and learning.

Nestled within the Inner West, our center thrives in a uniquely creative community, where vibrant and diverse neighborhoods coexist harmoniously. We take pride in our community, which is made up of different cultures, ideologies, and experiences that define us.

We also acknowledge that this land area traditionally belonged to the Gadigal and Wangal peoples of the Eora nation, and we pay our respects to the elders, both past and present.

Our operating hours are from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, from 8:30 am to 5 pm.
