Since our opening in the charming village of Middle Park in December 2009, our mission has been to provide a one-stop shop for all your grocery needs. We work closely with passionate growers and producers to ensure that locals can experience the joy of shopping where they live.

From fresh fruits and vegetables sourced directly from local growers to Noisette sourdoughs, Peter Bouchier meats, and chef-prepared meals, we have carefully curated a selection that guarantees satisfaction. Our store also boasts an impressive array of wonderful cheeses and grocery suppliers, ensuring that you'll find everything you need under one roof.

Since our initial success, we have expanded our presence to other Melbourne suburbs. In 2012, we opened our doors in Albert Park Village, followed by our South Yarra location on Toorak Road in 2015. And now, we are thrilled to announce the opening of our newest store in the delightful suburb of Brighton in September 2022. This means that locals in Brighton now have a beautiful store where they can find the best produce Melbourne has to offer.

When it comes to our offerings, we go above and beyond to ensure freshness and quality. Our owners personally travel to the wholesale market to handpick the freshest fruits and vegetables. Our meat selection includes the renowned Bouchier meats, and our bakery section proudly features Noisette sourdoughs. We believe in providing value for money, and this commitment is evident throughout our store.

In addition to our carefully curated selection, we are proud to introduce our very own Gum Tree Good Food brand. After extensive taste testing, we have created a range of delicious dips in collaboration with Melbourne suppliers. These dips are a testament to our dedication to delivering exceptional flavors and quality.

When it comes to our eggs, we take freshness seriously. Every Thursday, we receive a fresh batch of eggs from Grampians, and on average, we sell them within a week of being laid. This ensures that you can enjoy the best quality eggs, as opposed to the average supermarket egg, which can be up to 5½ weeks old according to a "Choice" survey.

Lastly, we have a delightful story behind our homemade ice cream. Jock, with the full support of Brigid, started experimenting with ice cream after a motoring incident left him with some extra time on his hands. We're grateful for that accident, as it led to the creation of our beloved ice cream, which we know you'll adore.
