"We stayed at a KozyGuru property at Fortitude Valley in Brisbane. We arrived and there were 5 bags of rubbish at the door. We got inside and it smelt of old food and foot odour. The description on airbnb said it was a luxury apartment, but it was unclean, had ripped lounge, dirty cutlery, old food on the shelves. We were charged $150 for a sink that blocked when we were only there to sleep and they pulled out mouldy sludge from the poor upkeep of the apartment. NEVER trust this organisation. They are deceitful."
"WARNING Don’t book with any of these properties managed by this company Kozyguru unless you want to pay for their renovations. make sure you take photos of everything including areas where you think you wouldn’t need to such as the slats of every bed in each bedroom! You would think slats wouldn’t break after one night but apparently not!! I initially took responsibility as a good guest despite having large doubts but then saw another review by Karen Drummond below where she had the same issue with this company!! You should also take photos of the walls behind each door and each door stopper, because you could also be accused of making a dent in the wall and breaking a door stopper, which of course was already there before you got in. They also want a gold door stopper or why else would they want $100 to replace it?? Zoom in on the photos, it’s such an unhygienic place to stay, see the other EVIDENCE provided by the reviews below"
"It was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was blown away by the spaciousness and elegant design of the apartment. The well-placed mirrors only added to the feeling of openness and breadth, which was truly delightful. One of the things I appreciated most about this Airbnb was the fully equipped kitchen. As someone who likes to cook and eat healthy, having access to a full set of kitchen utensils, pots, and pans was a plus. I could easily prepare my own meals with the fresh ingredients I found nearby. Another fantastic perk was having the option to check out later. My flight wasn't until the evening, so not having to rush was invaluable. Additionally, the location of the apartment was incredibly convenient, with a range of restaurants and food options right on our doorstep. Overall, I can't recommend this Airbnb enough. The host was friendly and helpful, the apartment beautiful and fully equipped, and the Bondi Beach location unbeatable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!"
"Pity that I couldn't give you 0 stars for your putrid, disgusting, unhygienic, rude, non responsive, humiliating and worst experience I have had by any host and AirBnb by far. I arrived to an unsanitary, unhygienic apartment with dirty, dusty floors. Stains on the couch, stains on the bedding. Floors that we’re black and brown due to absent cleaning. White substances in the vacuum that left my eyes and chest bloodshot and tight. The laundry dryer has mild and green fungi growing on it when the filter was removed and cleaned. I have photographed every occurrence of dirt, dust and just filth in this apartment and will be displaying them on social media as a health warning with a very honest review. I will also be filing a formal complaint with Airbnb attaching the photos of the apartment and my experience. It will also include the lack of responses received from Megan clearly detailing the filth mentioned above, including the unwillingness to help in my current situation where I am locked out of the apartment with my valuables still inside. I have been waiting for 2 hours without any assistance when the cleaner has another set of keys. After getting locked out of the apartment When we raised the issue that she had been locked out, the host (Megan) refused to help Your cleaner arrived at 2pm when indicated they would arrived at 1pm. The cleaner nearly trampled over me while getting to the door. The cleaner arrived with what I presume to be her mother and child. I’d indicated to the cleaner that I’d been locked out for 3 hours, my valuables (laptop, watches, music production equipment and a suitcase) were still in the apartment and due to her mother and child being there, requested that they wait outside for 5-10 minutes allowing me to gather my valuables and head out to which the cleaner responded that no one had told her to arrive at 201 B1 Wentworthville at 1pm, indicated that she wouldn’t let her mother and child wait outside, invited them in and out her child in the bed, in the room where my valuables were - I expressed how uncomfortable I am with the situation to which she indicated she no longer wanted to talk to me. Your cleaner became rude and treated me with prejudice and underlying racism. I then expressed how I’m not happy with the situation and that I would raise the issue to a superior to which your cleaner laughed, said she doesn’t have a boss and switched the tv on while taking a seat. I then gathered as many belongings as I could, leaving the balance in to apartment. When I returned, the cleaner had tried to lock me out not knowing I still have a key. This behavior is unprofessional, unbecoming rude and unacceptable. The experience with KozyGuru has been awful, infuriating as well as humiliating. This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had staying at a place. The treatment by Megan and your cleaner has been disgusting."
