"Very nice lodge. We stayed mid-week in the upstairs section & there was no-one staying in the small unit downstairs. Good heating options for winter, although I would prefer a slow combustion style fireplace as the open fire burns through wood quite quickly. Located in a quiet area of Leura, no more than 5 minutes drive to the main street shops. We could hear trains passing on the railway line high above, but the noise was very muted & not loud enough to be intrusive. Would stay again. The owner was very nice to deal with."
"Great place, nestled in a nice part of town. Great set up with everything you need to stay-in, or venture out. 25min walk to Leura or Katoomba town centres. Very clean. As it's nestled in the bush, expect possums to be active in the roof at 4am - that only adds to the charm! Owner was very pleasant and easy to communicate with. No high chair if you're coming with little ones."
