"Nice intimate ambiance and service. Sat at the bar and it was entertaining watching the bartenders at work. Had the focaccia, eggplant dip, and chicken shawarma. All delicious. Would definitely go back"

"We had a delicious dinner at Shaffa. Standouts were the wonderfully light foccacia, the smooth & creamy hummus punctuated by fried chickpeas and the tender lamb on a bed of eggplant puree. Service was friendly and Brandon our server, was attentive and helpful. The only negative part of the night was our original seats. We were happy to sit at the bar but didn't expect them to squeeze 8 people onto a bar that only comfortably sits 6. Super tight space, we could barely get in and out of our seats. Luckily two diners left shortly and we requested to be moved to the end of the bar. I'd recommend avoiding dining at the bar if possible, in case they still seat 8 people there."

"2nd visit and it is just as amazing. Different day time vibe and it all just works. The bread and dips were to die for, the steak melts in your mouth. Carlos and Alon (in sommelier training ha) provided great service. The wines were great."

"Food amazing every time! On this occasion, we had mistakenly booked the bar seat instead of the chef's bar seats. The Bar seats were placed quite narrowly with the other chairs. The staff was kind in remembering us and came back after we had finished our first dish to ask if we wanted to move to a table behind (that was being cleaned up now) in the less crowded section. We didnt want to create chaos moving out of our seats that were well wedged in between 3 other groups so kept to where we were originally seated. But was thankful he came around to offer us! :) So the chefs bar has higher ceilings and more spaced out somewhat, but the bar area has low ceilings and gets crowded so it can get quite noisy with the music as well. (I do love how Shaffa offers both types of environments!) We were originally there for a chat and a catch up (as we hadnt met for months) but the atmosphere of the bar really hooked us in. It's amazing what great service, great food, and great vibes with great friends can do! We ended up ordering some cocktails and having a good laugh to end our night - so much fun we forgot to take pictures towards the end of the night! Every friend I've taken to Shaffa has enjoyed the experience, doesn't disappoint"
