Centre of Excellence in Agricultural Education Richmond, New South Wales 2753
About the Business
Welcome to the Centre of Excellence in Agricultural Education, located in Richmond, New South Wales. As a leading establishment in agricultural education, we have formed partnerships with WSU, TAFE, and industry experts to deliver high-quality programs.
Currently, we have several casual teacher opportunities available for Term 2, with the potential for extension into Terms 3 and 4. While enrolments for Year 7 have been finalized, families can still apply for our waitlist for the AgSTEM Specialty programs in both Year 7 and 8.
Mark your calendars for November 21st - 25th, as we will be offering programs suitable for Stage 1 to Stage 6 students. Registration for these programs will open in Term 3. Additionally, registration for our K-12 programs for 2022 is now open. You can find details of the programs available in our Learning at the Centre section, including both in-person and virtual options.
If you are interested in becoming a casual teacher for the 2022 and Sem 1, 2023 terms, we are currently updating our Casual Teacher Database. Please email the Centre for a package and to express your interest.
Even students currently learning from home in Greater Sydney can access our AgSTEM Challenges, designed for primary and Stage 4 students. We are proud to have the first AgSTEM class in the state, enjoying a dual campus and transdisciplinary learning program.
At the Centre of Excellence in Agricultural Education, we acknowledge and respect the traditional custodians of the land, the Boorooberong people of the Darug Nation. We learn daily in the landscapes of Dyarubbin, the mighty Hawkesbury River, and pay our respects to the Elders past and present for their stewardship of these lands.
Our community plays an integral role in the development of our learning experiences and the growth of our emerging leaders, who will shape the strength and unity of our lands. We are honored to work alongside them.
We understand that the period before HSC exams can be stressful for students and their families. Our aim is to provide support and guidance during this time, ensuring that everyone feels confident and prepared.
Education Week is an annual celebration of NSW public education, where we recognize the achievements of our schools, teachers, and students. It is a time to come together and celebrate the power of education.
The Department of Education has shared a draft plan for NSW public education and invites parents and carers to provide their valuable feedback. Your input is crucial in shaping the future of education in our community.
Lastly, we would like to acknowledge and pay respect to the traditional custodians of the land, the Darug people, as well as the Elders past, present, and future.
