With a seating capacity for 130 people, Birdies Bistro offers a diverse range of dining options to cater to all tastes and preferences. Whether you're seeking a casual evening out or a formal affair, our dedicated team ensures that your dining experience with us is exceptional. We even have a special menu for children, making us a perfect choice for families.

Beyond our delectable cuisine, the Clubhouse also boasts a conveniently located and fully equipped Children's Room, allowing parents to relax and enjoy their meal while their little ones are entertained. Additionally, we have a chic café where you can catch up with friends over a cup of coffee.

One of the highlights of Birdies Bistro is the breathtaking view of our 18-hole Golf Course. Surrounded by glass, you can soak in the beauty of the course during the day, and during the warmer months, you can dine on our verandah and enjoy the outdoors. It's an experience that truly enhances your meal.

When it comes to the food itself, we take pride in offering fresh, tasty dishes that are reasonably priced. Our menu features a variety of options, including vegetarian and gluten-free choices, ensuring there's something for everyone. Operating hours at Birdies Bistro are as follows: we are open from Wednesday to Sunday. On Wednesdays, we serve lunch from 12 noon to 2pm. Thursdays offer both lunch from 12 noon to 3pm and dinner from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Fridays follow a similar schedule, with lunch from 12 noon to 2pm and dinner from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Saturdays provide an extended lunch period from 11.30am to 3.00pm, followed by dinner from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Sundays offer lunch from 12 noon to 3pm and an early dinner from 5pm to 7pm. Please note that closing times may vary depending on the number of guests.

As you visit Birdies Bistro, it's worth knowing that the history of golf in Blackheath dates back to 1910 when it was first played on what is now Memorial Park. Our current golf course was originally a nine-hole course for a guest house called "Belvedere." While the guest house no longer stands, its ruins can still be found on the hill overlooking the present 16th fairway. The owner of "Belvedere" abandoned the links due to the challenging climb to and from the guesthouse.
