Reviews
"Positives are the service and atmosphere - nice decorations and interiors The food is average at best. With the ramen, the noodles were overcooked and soft. The broth was fine. For the first serving of the Bento Box, the beef was still raw so had to be sent back and re-cooked. The taste was good. Overall, def a mixed experience and I wouldn't be rushing to come back."
"FOOD. Tastes delicious. I'm always a fan of chicken karaage anyway. Desserts are also good. PLACE. Nice and tidy. The design is very Japanese. SERVICE. Quick service. No issues with customer service."
"We came to Kei Japanese Restaurant at Wolli Creek tonight. The ambience is good. They have a good space inside. We ordered 2 Bento box and 1 Black Garlic Ramen. I've got to say they are not good. Therefore star 1 but if I am not this dissapointed, i probably better off not giving any feedback. The Japanese food are not authentic Japanese. The batter for the tempura was tasteless and it was notnsupposed to look like in the pics. They just just the usual batter for fish not the actual tempura batter which makes it very dissapointing because the price is NOT cheap! The ramen was not good at all. Taste bitter It was not Good .. small portions for the Bento. Deluxe cost 30 dollars"
"Absolutely divine Japanese cuisine tucked away in the Wolli Creek village square. The sushi was so fresh and tasty along with the pork don. Massive serving sizes and good value for money overall. Very impressed and will most certainly be back for more!"
"We ordered the salmon avocado and dragon roll sushi rolls and karaage curry. The curry was decent and karaage was quite nice but the sushi rolls need to be improved in my opinion. The rolls could be wrapped a bit tighter (they were falling apart as I ate them) and taste wise probably too much rice as the ratio of other ingredients to rice wasn’t the best especially for the salmon avocado roll. The dragon roll was a bit better because of the sauce and it was slightly torched."
