The Bunker - Leura

"Lunch here was such a delight! We sat inside by the cosy fireplace but after lunch we went and explored the stunning grounds with amazing views! We ate: - Julius Salad - Bunker Beets Salad - Lamb Ragu - Grilled Salmon - Sweet Potato Fries I really loved both of these salads and the salmon dish was perfection, I ate every single bite. The Papardelle was slightly overcooked unfortunately but I highly rate the rest of the food. The sweet potato fries were really yummy and a generous portion size! The beetroot relish that comes with a few of the dishes on the Bunker menus, is absolutely delicious, I could eat it every day! The cocktails and mocktails that we tried were also great. "I love this spot in Blue Mountains! Located very close to Leura, this restaurant is great for big groups but make sure to book! They have a very cute, fairytale aesthetic about their location. It is sort of like a little cottage house with a beautiful garden and lots of choices on their menu. Overall, I really like this spot and would visit again with friends!"

"What a lovely place to eat. It has an old world charm. There's parking with a narrow driveway, after the roundabout. It's dog friendly for outdoor seating. Can get chilly in winter outside especially in the shade. The food is yummy, had the schnitzel & the chicken was cooked perfectly & moist, the chips are also perfectly fried and seasoned. The wagyu beef was also yum. It's a good idea to book otherwise you can't get a table especially inside. The mains range from $23"

"We would have given a 5 but for the rather unfriendly intro by the bloke at the door. Not really outright rude but wasn’t particularly friendly. Environment and service by other staff is top notch. Food was good too. Had a lovely fireplace but leaving the doors open rather invited on flies and insects."

"Wow! What an incredible experience here. It begins as you walk up the staircase outdoors through the beautiful gardens. You pass under a brick archway and approach the entrance. The inside is vast and has many sections. It has a beautiful rustic wooden vibe all around. Very earthy and warm. There is a real fireplace in the middle of the space which is a beautiful and warm and calming addition. The music is chill and the perfect volume for an awesome ambience. The seats are very comfortable and the tables are spacious and there are lots of tables to choose from. The food is fresh and delicious and amazing! The hot chips are divine and perfectly seasoned. The desserts were beautifully presented and a visual and taste sensation. The service is attentive and friendly and they go above and beyond to cater to your needs. They are awesome ! I cannot fault this place at all. I'm obsessed with this place and I can't wait to be back."
