Reviews of Ron Payne Park
"Good play area, nice oval but be careful of the mean dogs, if you have a really rowdy dog pls don’t bring them here, there have been events in the past where other dogs have been hurt or attacked."
"Ron Payne Park has a synthetic cricket pitch and is an enclosed dog park too. There are 2 nets for cricket practice and a small kids play area."
"We like this park. Play equipment that's a little bit different from all the other ones. Added bonus the oval next to the playground doubles as a fully fenced dog park. We don't have a dog, but love meeting other dogs. And there's an entry to Lane Cove NP. Didn't check out the toilets, but looked OK from the outside. Bit of shade on the play equipment would be nice, but gazebo and bench available"
"Good walking track, cricket nets and play equipment for young kids. Great park for entire family to stay active"
"The park looks new as well as the equipment, does get a bit hot under the sun so make sure you bring a hat there are shaded areas but not at the play equipment. I did find the slippery slide a bit steep for younger kids but everything here seems to encourage imaginative play and get the kids to work on their motor skills. I really like the mini road signs they have in the park we didn't bring a bicycle this time but the track looks like it would be good for beginners."
