Riverwood Park
About the Business
Welcome to Riverwood Park, a charming establishment located in New South Wales, Georges River Council, Riverwood. As a park and point of interest, Riverwood Park offers a delightful experience for both locals and tourists alike.
One of the highlights of Riverwood Park is the Neighbourhood Maps, an interactive map that provides a wealth of useful information. This includes a comprehensive guide to cycling and walking routes throughout the beautiful Georges River area. Whether you're a nature lover or an avid explorer, these routes offer a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the stunning surroundings.
If you're looking to make a casual park booking, simply complete and return our Casual Park booking form. For detailed information on the use of public land, we recommend referring to Council's Local Approvals Policy. Additionally, our Frequently Asked Questions page provides valuable insights into the Park and Reserve Facilities.
It is important to note that public-made mountain bike tracks are not permitted or authorized on public land. These tracks can have detrimental effects on native vegetation, fauna habitat, and the overall environment. They can also cause soil erosion and stormwater pollution during rainy periods. We encourage community members to report any unauthorized tracks and be mindful of their impact on both the community and the environment.
While it is not illegal to ride bikes in Riverwood Park, it is essential to stay on designated roads and fire trails. To ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment, we are improving park signage to clearly outline these obligations.
Creating new tracks or trails in bushland areas is strictly prohibited. This activity not only harms the environment but also poses a safety risk for other park users. If you come across any new tracks or jumps, please report them to Council using our Log It/Fix It option on our website or through the Georges River Council app.
If you have any specific concerns or issues, we recommend raising a Customer Service Request. This will ensure that your matter is addressed by the appropriate teams, and you can easily track its progress.
At Georges River Council, we acknowledge and pay respect to the Bidjigal people of the Eora Nation, the Traditional Custodians of the land, water, and sky in the Georges River area. We extend this respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who live, work, and gather on these lands.
Come and experience the beauty and tranquility of Riverwood Park. Whether you're seeking a leisurely stroll, a family picnic, or a moment of serenity in nature, our establishment is the perfect destination. Immerse yourself in the natural wonders of Australia and create lasting memories at Riverwood Park.

"My wife and I had a great time Sunday 26/3/23. Pensioners, we visited/checked out all stalls. Met with SES, Fire, Ambulance and Police - Such great people doing a wonderful service. Everyone in the area were such beautiful people from all nationalities. Children were all smiles. We loved all aspects of all music there was on offer. Such a pity the weather was unpredictable. I believe the fair catered for everyone, and I mean, EVERYONE. Cheers Rotary. All the best to you all"
