"Located in the upper campus of UNSW. The entrance is not too difficult to locate. There is a variety of Chinese and Malaysian food options to pick, the one to three dish with rice and noodle is the best choice. I ordered BBQ pork with rice today. I received a pager but I waited more than 10 minutes till I got tbd food and the food is not hot. To make a good BBQ pork, the skin of the pork must be crispy and with honey, the pork must use half fat and half skinny, the result should be oily and juicy. But this BBQ pork is very dry, sliced very thin., and no fat at all. The vegetables are also cold and no taste. The rice is dried but okay with the sweet soya sauce. Should have provide a bottle for more soya sauce. The chopstick is pretty hard to find. This restaurant is okay for a quick Chinese meal in the campus. Don’t give too high expectations."
"Mr Yu’s fav comfort food on campus. He keeps ordering the Hainan chicken rice! I finally got a chance to visit. Tried vegetarian fried rice noodles. Not too salty but a bit greasy. Still a good spot for school day lunch!"
"5Apr2019, Friday~12:15PM. Quite busy, we just managed to find the 2 tables we needed for our group of 7. I got a bit annoyed when I was trying to get extra tissues for my friends and you have to ask them over the counter for them. I kept saying 5 more and they would give 1 each time. The food isn't spectacular but it's not overly expensive either. I got the the veggies rice with the teriyaki chicken, $8.50, see photo. It would be near the bottom of my preferences of I were to eat in this area again."
