"Order 10 Kebab sticks for 11$ thinking that it's a great deal, but to my surprise there's barely any meat (check the photos) Felt like I was scammed. I wonder whether they don't have any sense of guilt or conscience to conduct this kind of unethical business practices. Never buy anything from this shop again !!!"
"Long overdue review and I hope it has changed since. Pancakes were very nice when fresh.. was my ultimate favourite before they opened in Hurstville. Half of the time the service was awful (young male staff) - on separate occasions they have forgotten my order, didn’t provide a buzzer, waited at least 10-15 mins off peak (imagine having a toddler waiting with you). Couple of times the pancake was slightly undercooked or overcooked from being too thin. I’m clearly still bitter from my experiences but it is enough for me to not go back to the Hurstville store."
"Love the crispy pancake. I came at 10am on Saturday and they are still setting up, luckily the pancake is already available and is only a 5' wait. The staff recommended beef flavour. I like the crispiness of the pancake. The fillings is just fine for me."
"Bought that crispy pancake beef, lamb and red beans. Cant comment the beef because my kid ate it :( Red beans- taste is really nice. The problem is the price is 6 bucks and i believe this should be 4.5 or 5 at least give us more red beans. Lamb- i can feel the spice on tge lamb. The meat is not tough and very surprising. Meat like jerky but again the price does not meet my expectations and it could be cheaper. Pancake needs a little bit salt please. Because of the pricw, i have to dropped the scores."
"I found this place going through Hurstville Westfield, it replaced a kebab place Shish and Grill. Hoping that it would better the food of its predecessor, I tried its crispy pork and red bean pancakes. The place also sells Taiwanese sausages and other barbequed kebabs. I had high hopes but was left unhappy and bitter about the food and service. There are at least 5 people working at the place yet it takes more than 20 minutes for the food to be called out and collected by customers. Only one boy was working the guo kui and serving the food, he would leave the fresh pancakes sitting there before calling out its customers. I could see the cashier taking in numerous customers whilst the kitchen was struggling to keep up in orders, the line building and waiting customers grimacing. My patience was whittled with the inexperience, disarray and carelessness. The food's quality only made it worse, I was eating dried up cardboard with the thinnest spread of pork. It was also spread unevenly and left bland bites of the pancake. Although I bought the pancakes with their daily discount, the $6-8 price may trigger more customers. I'd rather have the old kebab place instead."
