"The food is amazingly good, and the serving is plenty. The room is full of diners. The rice is really good, first class! The service and the price is excellent. There is a discount for the member of the club RAMSGATE RSL, but guests like myself are welcome. There is this welcoming atmosphere when you come in the reception. I'll come back again for sure."
"Zen is located in the Ramsgate RSL, up the escalator. As far as RSLs go this is one of the nicer ones, well lit and modern presentation. I went with a HK native who really enjoyed the food and thought it was great. I'm more of a Campsie Golden Territory type myself. The food is fine, the price is a little higher per serving, but where this place wins is its service and comfort. The ladies who serve you the dimsum are gentle, polite, and will chat up with customers if you like in a friendly way. The place was far from busy when I was there, and they had on an easy going lo-fi playlist. If you've been to certain great dimsum places in Sydney, you know that "good service" is absolutely not guaranteed, and indeed is often part of the charm of the dimsum experience. However, that is not for everyone, especially families, so I'm pleased that Zen exists and offers what is probably the most comfortable dimsum session I've had in a while."
