"I absolutely love this Cantonese restaurant! Their Typhoon Shelter Crab is simply outstanding – delicious, flavorful, and slightly spicy. Moreover, the staff is incredibly attentive and always ready with a smile to provide excellent service. What's even better is that the prices are very reasonable, offering fantastic value for money. I highly recommend it to everyone!"

"More of a cafe establishment than a restaurant , right on the main street offering Chinese Cantonese cuisine. Food and taste wise is just normal average. Could well improve on house keeping. Had the roasted goose, which was alright. The 'kau yuk' pork and yam dish could have been better with more intensity and depth of flavours . Fine for quick and fill-up meal."

"I have been dinning at this place for a few times, and I am writing this review based on my experiences as a whole. To start with, I would only give 3 stars for the actual foods and drinks. They are acceptable, but nothing made me want to have it again unless it’s on special. I think you get what I mean. Having said that, I would give 5 stars for their services tho. It’s very easy to have a fun chat with their motherly staff. If you don’t have mommy issues like I do, then ignore this message. Also they are cool with splitting bills too. I went there in a huge group as you can see from the photos I posted, and we paid our bills individually. So overall I would give 4 stars."

"Yu star bbq is located along forest road just below the train station (previous Sunny’s seafood). Ever since Sunny closure, Yu star hasn’t been able to pick up from where they left even though it’s a different restaurant. There’s not much to say, the interiors plain and boring as you expect from an old school Chinese restaurant. The set menu option was disappointing, portions are small and taste average. Staff members don’t have any manners and never smile. Save your money and eat somewhere else!"

"Service was fine 3 stars. We had lunch and the food was 2 stars. The milk tea was very disappointing -1 star. Prices were reasonable. The 2% Visa card fee was excessive. Overall no good reason to visit again."
