"Would I come back here? . . . Maybe. We waited 45 minutes to get in. They have a ticket system where you write down your name and how many people. We then stood out the front waiting. Handy hint: people would write down their name and then go off somewhere else. They then would come back well after their name was called and were next in line. Wish we had done that! But yeah, we got in. The table was clean and oh my gosh the place was so loud. Looked cosy from the outside but it is very very loud. So don't expect a relaxing meal. You order your food through the QR code on the table (you pay after eating) and then the staff put a receipt on your table, crossing items off as they're delivered. Really smart idea. The food was nice but also not excitingly special. I enjoyed it but I wasn't like oh my gosh I need to rush back and eat everything!!! So yeah, it was nice but not better than other restaurants. Glad to have tried the hype though."
"Went in for lunch with friends. Had the Singapore style barramundi, fried eggplant, stir fried noodles, stir fried green beans and salt and pepper pork ribs. All dishes tasted amazing and had great taste and texture. The flavours were all spot on and I couldn’t fault any of it. Service was friendly and food was very affordable also. This place is definitely a hidden gem in Burwood."
"Beautifully presented dishes at a reasonable price. Some very nice flavours. Loved the chicken feet - definitely must try and with generous servings. Also loved the squid ink rice, very creamy and hearty although not really a fan of the bits of pickled radish pieces in there. Fried chicken with soft bones with milk rolls is a must try - probably one of my favourites. Will definitely come back to try the dumplings and maybe the duck. Not a big fan of the crab salad with mango despite how nice it looks. The mangoes are freezing cold which is a weird contrast to the warm crab and mayo. The flavour is interesting though, I think it would work better if all the components were the same temperature. There's always a massive line especially for dinner so get in early or go during odd times."
"The food here is delicious and it comes out fairly quickly as well. It gets quite busy and it doesn’t take long before a queue forms, so try to get there earlier. Service wise it’s average but you can’t really blame them considering how busy it is. Staff are polite and do their best. Portion sizes are good. The garlic prawns with squid ink rice is heaven."
"This place is always packed, so I thought we would attempt to go for lunch instead, but there is no difference! All the dishes were good and enjoyable. It was a bit annoying that the pork belly was not cut up, but i guess the concept is that it pulls apart easily. Generous portions for the value would recommend giving a go if you haven't been before."
