"We skipped this a few times as it is usually with queue during dinner hour. So happened it’s without queue and we decided to give it a try. In overall, slightly above average I will say. To me what’s standout is the braised pork ears. Deep fried pork intestine is a big no no for me."
"Price is fair but food is too salty for me. I ordered pork bone. The flavor is okay but it's become greasy after the second bones and get easy stuck in teeth. Sweet and sour pork is made of very thin pork slice and covered with very thick flour paste. The toufu with chilli is too salty and add too much sugar. Price about $30 pp"
"This place has great North China cuisine. I ordered the pork bones which were absolutely delicious. Reminded me of flavours from Shan Dong, a Northern province in China. Also ordered a few other dishes which all had decent authentic mainland flavour. Portion sizes were big and very good prices. It seems pretty popular at lunch and lots of other tables ordered the pork bones as well. It does require putting on plastic gloves to grab and hold the bone as you gnaw on it but this reminds me of how we ate the meat off large bones in China."
"Tasty dishes at very reasonable prices. Our first choice in Burwood to go whenever we don't feel like cooking at home. Can't recommend enough of the pork belly with buns, green beans and the crispy sweet and sour pork, absolutely delicious! Thanks Natalie and Charlie!"
"Food is tasty. Reasonable price. Great location. Love the dumplings here the most."
