"delicious fresh handmade dumplings laohuimin Burwood such a great place with great food love it. It’s halal and everything made fresh. There is a bit of wait as it can get so busy here. But highly recommending their dumpling so good."
"Tasty food. Roughly $20-25 per dish. Recommend - Stir fry lamb with chives and hand pulled noodles. - thin skin steam bun - lamb skewers are decent quality. Better than what you find in the nearby Chinatown burwood plaza"
"Great restaurant with lovely food portions. The wait was reasonable and the staff is very helpful and suggested some dishes when we weren’t sure. Plenty of street parking and on the nearby roads. Highly recommend trying the lamb skewers there and all of their noodles are handmade and adds to the wait. The price is also very reasonable but can get expensive if you’re not careful."
"Really delicious Xin Jiang cuisine with hand made noodles. Lamb skewers were fatty and heartily coated in cumin. We ordered the handmade fried noodles and the potato and lamb with noodles on the side. A lot of the dishes here come with noodles on the side and you pour the sauce over when it arrives. Handmade noodles were delicious and very chewy. Dumplings were also decent. I wouldn’t reorder the lamb skewers again, they were pretty pricey and could be recreated at home, but the noodles definitely will be back for more!"
"this unassuming restaurant in burwood serves *amazing* food. the lamb ribs rack needs to be ordered 1 hr in advanced as it is slow-cooked but omg it is WORTH IT. the handmade noodles has a distinct flavour, quite different from xi bay (just down the road and another fan favourite) and pairs well with the lamb. it is a winner."
