"Deal; Monday to Thursday, only $68. All you can eat Yumcha.. I have read all the bad n good reviews, and I agreed some n I'm not agreed some.. All I can say is that, shouldn't be compared with other Chinese yumcha.. Having a lunch at Silk Crown. You get the views and nice table set-up, waiters r well trained and gives u good service. Whenever we called, come straightway. Price is not overpriced as if you look at the menus also not with trolley.. brings fresh food. Some meals need add-on salt and some r bit salty.. but that's your taste. I still recommend it to everyone if you want to have experience and fancy yumcha lunch at the Crown.."
"The food is delicious and the staff is excellent. But the price makes it almost not worth it. It’s not the best yum cha in Sydney by far but has at least 3x the price of the best. Sadly you’re paying for crown cassino “experience”. I would improve the way ordering is done. Definitely the all you can eat should have the trolley like typical yum cha. Because you have to order all your steamed will come at the same time which means you’re basically having steamed for a while before you get your fried and by time you get your large dishes you’re done eating. The traditional yum cha setting you can intercalate between dishes which is my preferred experience. The only plus side is that you get to choose the size of your portion which is a small gain for sacrificing the trolley system."
"Food was great, we made the right decision to go for the A la Carte yumcha and not the all you can eat, to be able take our time and enjoy the food. Price was steep for 4 people but expected, service was impeccable, i have to give it to the staff, i came expecting great service and got even better (which probably made the food taste better). Plates were changed out often and cups were topped up often. I would recommend Silks to anyone celebrating a milestone or taking anyone special out for a good lunch. ( I do think we over ordered hence the steep price, but everything looked tasty)"
"Service was fantastic. The staff were absolutely lovely. They were kind and considerate. The food was delicious but wouldn’t say it was worth the price. However the experience of being in the Crown Barangaroo is really what you pay for."
