"Brilliant place!! This was gym members outing. We had a booking for 10 and 13 turned up. They accommodated us all the same. We had the "Special" of 2 X 5 dishes with rice for 5 people and 1 X 2 dishes with rice for 2 people. One person ordered directly from the menu at full price. Food was delicious! Fast coming. Tea and other side service left some to be desired, but not bad service. The final price ended up to be $20 per person (including tip!!) And we "ATE" loads! We had so much food that we took 4 take away containers home! Had a fantastic time!! We will be back! Heck yes! We will be back!"
"We travel 25 km to try out this supposedly more popular, but economical family style set menu for 3, However, for 4 people, an additional charge of $5 for rice, whether the 4th person consumes rice or not. consisting of a Whole Barramundi and three other dishes. The fish is good but the quality of the rest rates from poor to alright.. We pay extra for more bitter melon for the fish. Our excitement drops to negative when the outer Omlette arrives. It is a great disappointment. The oysters are tiny and the Omlette is flat and dry. We expect it to be like "Or Jian". The Sweet and Sour Pork is cooked more for westerners with a good serve of onion. The colouring is too strong for my liking. The Chinese Broccoli with Salted Fish is pretty average. It is rather to draw conclusion to rate this 3-star or 4-star, some dishes appear to be bigger in portion size and better presented."
"Great service and great value for money! Have been coming to this restaurant for years and have never been disappointed with their dishes. Fast service and dishes are always filled with so much flavour - family love this place as they have family meal deals. Love their salt and pepper pork ribs as well as their steamed fish. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Cantonese food in Burwood. They also have an upstairs with rooms. Have hosted an event in one of their rooms upstairs and it was great!"
"Been here a couple of times. They serve chinese comfort food that typical Asian will order. Ordered 1. Sweet Sour Pork (sauce was a bit sticky, but pork was good) 2. Beans and pork mince (all time favs) 3. Black pepper beef with broccoli (all time favs) 4. Seafood bean curd (was alright) Typical asian service (not much talk, straight to the point and no smile), nevertheless food was good"
"Best value Chinese restaurant. We bought the 3-4 person set meal which came with steamed fish. All serving sizes were very large. The fish was very flaky and fresh, and the soy sauce was perfect to complement with the fish and over rice. The Peking pork ribs were sweet and crispy. The salt and pepper squid was crispy and tender The green beans were fried well and were aromatic. The price was under $100 which is fantastic value."
