For those interested in art and creativity, Deerbush Park offers two exciting programs. The Art Explorers Club, held every Friday from 12.30pm to 2.30pm, allows participants to unleash their artistic talents and explore various art forms. The Creative Lab, held on Thursdays from 4:00pm to 5:30pm, offers a space for young minds to experiment and innovate.
In partnership with Sydney Dogs and Cats Home, Deerbush Park is proud to offer discounted dog desexing vouchers for eligible Fairfield City residents with a Pensioner or Gov Health Care card. We have also teamed up with the Cat Protection Society of NSW to provide free microchipping and $30 desexing for low-income pensioners and residents in the Fairfield City Council area.
At Deerbush Park, we are dedicated to supporting the youth in our community. Each year, in collaboration with the Fairfield Youth Advisory Committee, we organize a NSW Youth Week program that promotes innovation and originality. The 2023 program promises to be exceptional, showcasing the talents and ideas of our local young people.
Fairfield City Mayor Frank Carbone is a strong advocate for the community. He is calling upon the NSW Government to invest in waste and recycling infrastructure and initiatives, or return the money from the rubbish tax to ratepayers. Additionally, Mayor Carbone will be tabling a Mayoral Minute to support the use of all forms of energy, including gas, across the Fairfield LGA.
Mark your calendars for the iconic Cabramatta Moon Festival, a must-attend event in Sydney. On Sunday, September 17, 2023, join us at Deerbush Park for a stellar celebration that will take you on a journey to the moon and back. This festival is not to be missed!

"My Grandchildren love the bike track here We take their little cars and always have a great time. There is play equipment suitable for all ages and a disabled swing. Restrooms are on site. Water park is great in the warmer months. Highly recommend."
"Great park, my kids loved it! The playground is big it has 2 big slides, climbing frames, a flying fox with a seat, swings, and a wheelchair swing. There's a small bike track with road signs, a water park, and a smaller play area. It has toilets, plenty of seats, tables, and shaded areas."
"Brand new park with plenty of parking lots. Its surrounding area is still having some construction work but it doesn't impact the playground. The flying fox is special due to the chair as the kid can cruise lying down! There are 3 main areas with the closest one to the carpark is the swing and slide, then flying fox at the back. Further to the right at the back is the splash play area and smaller kids playground. Furthest to the back is the gym equipment."
