"Arrived at 4:05pm, sign was flipped to “open” but all the lights were closed and door was locked. Advertising online & on the store window is 5pm close. Called a few times the following day, no answer. Called on the 3rd day and was advised they’ll be open until “4:30-5:00.” I mentioned I went to the store during opening hours - Gentleman didn’t apologise for my inconvenience but said they go out for 10-15 mins sometimes. | Suggestion for customers - Call first to make sure you don’t waste your time | Suggestion for company - Leave a note on the door to say you’ll return displaying an ETA"

"Disappointed wanted to return a few unused boxes that were excess. Refused return as it seems their policy is more than 2 weeks they don't take returns. Later when I was at Bunnings found the same tiles at a cheaper rate."

"Walked in, wasn't wearing a mask as I am medically exempt. Was asked to show my medical certificate. Didn't show it and was kicked out very rudely. Discrimination at its finest and completely disgusting behaviour from a small business such as Tiles Republic. Seems like they didn't want to make $10K plus money. Never knew they were also Medical Professionals in asking for my Medical certifcate. Stick to your profession in selling tiles. Will be telling everyone I know in the building industry to stay clear of this place. Reply to the Owner: I think you have me confused with someone else as I never walked in with my partner. You need to better understand the public health directions as medical exemptions do apply and you are not required to police that e.g. ask for proof. If anyone were to be fined, it would be me, if they found me to be dishonest or providing false information however this is not the case. Because of your response below, I will now formally put in a complaint to the Human Rights Commission so that you better understand the Disablility Discrimination Act 1992 - Section 6 and 24 regarding medical exemptions and the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988. They will serve you with the papers so you are better educated and don't treat potential customers the way you have treated me, as clearly you have done this in the past with others based on your response below. "Kevin and Johnny have been extremely helpful. First of all, the tiles I bought where $30 dollars cheaper(per2m) from down the road (National Tiles). Secondly when the tiles were opened and I began to lay them, I noticed that they were not mixed evenly ( this was done in the country of origin), so i bought the extra tiles back and they went out of their way to help me get the required mix i wanted, even undoing boxes to help me get the mix i wanted! Also they had no qualms about the box of black tiles ( that I had not opened) that I needed exchanged for mixed tiles. 5 start service... thanks heaps guys :) How MAD are these tiles...❤❤❤"

"These guys are great. Have done a few larger deals with them over the last few years and they are excellent. Even wehn there is a problem the fix it. Much cheaper than other well known stores and same quality."
