"Extremely disappointed. Ordered a takeaway regular nachos. When I got home, the container was only half filled. There was no guacamole either. Would expect more for $14."
"Very excited to have a Zambrero in the area, espcially as Guzman shut their doors for a reno. I ordered using the app and ate in store. Delicious and generously portioned burrito that really hit the spot! I loved the inclusion of sweetcorn in the burrito, it really adds a nice subtle sweetness. Will make this a regular lunch spot!"
"Love Zambero! Food was great and staff were really friendly"
"yummy mexican food"
"I go to Zambrero a lot. Loved it since it first opened in Canberra. This one just opened and I was a bit disappointed. They've changed the layout, instead of starting at one end and making it in front of you as you order it is now just order at the register GYG style. Which I wasn't expecting. This threw me off, and the staff didn't ask any questions about my order, I just ordered a chicken burrito and that was it. No follow up questions. Didn't even ask if I wanted guacamole. After doing the usual formula for so long, by changing to the new format the instructions to the customer were definitely not clear. So after ordering and waiting awkwardly in front of the register like I'm at bloody Macca's, I got my order and was interested to see what I was going to get. It had sour cream in it (which I don't like but can eat), no guac, no fried beans, couldn't taste any lime, the chicken had a different taste to what it usually is (very salty), and I'm not sure what salsa they put on it. I was disappointed, especially when I usually really enjoy my food from Zambrero and find it especially comforting. To be honest, for almost $20 just for 1 burrito I kind of expected to have a similar, if not superior experience at a fresh store to what I usually get at other stores like Oxford St which is nearby. The staff were really friendly and nice though. The store was very clean, everything is brand new and has no wear and tear. In the future I just hope when staff are taking orders that they could perhaps guide the customer by asking leading questions to make sure they get the order right."
