"We had our floors done recently in our first home and the experience started off good but quickly turned sour, uneven floors, cracked boards and in a spare room one of the doors does not shut due to the post between the 2 doors being cut/moved which has also caused a hideous gap between the doors . I had to take time off work for the tradesman to come back and finish the job only for them to cancel 15 mins prior to the appointment time, the tradesmen’s communication was absolute garbage, the overall experience was painful and won’t recommend them anyone."
"My partner and I bought our first home and decided we wanted the flooring refreshed before moving in. We sought a few quotes and decided to go with a hybrid option from National Floors after feeling confident with the knowledge of staff and assistance we received at the Werribee store. We've now been left with uneven floors, cracked boards, damaged skirting boards/door frames and the flooring feels like it bends and is noisy to walk on. One of our closets no longer closes because a post was moved out of place, not sure how that can be fixed now. If some of these issues couldn't of been avoided (or maybe our expectations were not accurate), it would have be nice to understand this before the job started, or when these issues were encountered during installation. The job was not completed in the time frame discussed, with the installers continually pushing back the final touches, only to be completed on our moving day, 2 weeks after the main installation was finished. We were so excited to move into our first home, but this experience has left us feeling frustrated and upset."
