"This is my FAVOURITE fish & chips place in all of Australia! Troy, the owner, is a lovely guy, and has a real passion for making the most delicious chips with the best tasting chicken salt in my opinion. And even when he's not in, you'll see Frank, who makes the chips just as good! He's a real master at it, and every time the chips are a little bit tastier. Keep it up Frank! I've been going here since I was young, and what I appreciate about it most is how it's pretty much stayed the same - in the best ways! The taste has stayed the same just how I'd like it, and the day this place either closes or loses it's signature taste will be a truly sad day for me. Long live Lakewood Fish & Chips! "The prices here are great and the portion sizes are reasonable for what you're paying. I also liked that the chips aren't yellow like many other local places and are tasty and crunchy with soft insides. The fish was fresh and nice tasting. The dimmies are good ones which is appreciated. We'll be back."
