"Love this cafe and the location. Have never had a problem with them before. On my last visit I arrived after a big group of bike riders so had to wait some time while they all placed their order. That was ok. I got to the front of the line and then we were due to be served and the owner was making the coffees and asked the people in the line after me what they wanted then I was asked to step aside so they could pay before me being able to place my order. I was horrified. That is not the way to treat customers. That is why I am only giving 3 stars when I normally have given 5 stars. Have not been back since. Not happy."

"We liked the location and waterside setting immensely, and the menu was full of interesting choices. Service was good and my meal (fish and chips) excellent. However my wife's chicken shaslicks weren't properly cooked, one in particular having raw chicken on the inside. She should have complained but didn't want any trouble. She later came down with a salmonella type infection and had to be treated by her doctor. However she is fine now although wary of chicken products. It's a shame because everything else was just fine including the coffees. Maybe check your chicken shaslick inside before eating? Cheers!"
"First visit to Waterways cafe Lovely cafe with beautiful views. Hot chocolate was great. Nice outdoor seating with delicious cakes. If raining plenty of indoor seating. The Nest cafe definately worth a visit after a walk around the park"
