"My friend and I were invited to a complimentary taste and tour dinner as my friend is planning to have a micro wedding there. Peter is super awesome with his friendly personality and he did an amazing job at showing us the place and making sure we had a good overall experience. We were able to try most of the popular dishes and all the food are so delicious! We are very impressed with Peter and all the services, the food quality is so fine and we are impressed with the atmosphere and the environment too! It was a wonderful experience!! Definitely recommend! ☺️"
"Came here with no expectations as I have had a run of bad luck with restaurants as of late. Service was 1st class. The food... Omg the food! Garlic bread with olive tapenade to start which was beautiful. Steak tartare was divine. Perfectly seasoned. Only advice will be double or triple the bread. Mains were a home run. The steak was so tender... Cooked to perfection. The fish pie was a story of pure magic. Creamy and well balanced without that overly fishy smell or taste. The puff pastry was fluffy and golden and crunchy. I would eat this again and again and again. Side were the green beans (yummmm), cauliflower (the chilli hit is excellent) and the mash potatoes with truffle oil (super flavourful). I ate too much but I had already ordered dessert... Coconut curd and the chocolate fondant. The curd wasn't my favourite thing in the world, but my wife loved it, and I thought she'd hate it. The fondant is a thing of beauty... I'd eat this for brekky, lunch and dinner. I'll be back here again soon... Steak tartare, steak/fish pie and fondant next time for sure. Thanks for an amazing evening Peter and Antoine."
"Intimate restaurant, very friendly and approachable staff. The cuisine produced is of a very high quality, and joy of joys, a small 3 course set menu with a small selection of dishes in each course. In a city currently filled with multi course degustation menus, this was a breath of fresh air. The setting is stunning- set in a period stone cottage by the water. On a clear night, nothing nicer than to sit in the balcony and watch the world go by. The prices were in my opinion, exceptionally good value"
"There’s actually two parts to this establishment. Check the photos and you’ll see what I mean. I ate on the ground level at the cafe on the bay - but there is an old stone building which is a restaurant situated above it. Which, as I understand it is only open in the evening I think. Both the cafe and the restaurant overlook the harbour and boats so it’s pretty spectacular. The cafe is close to the water and serves very good coffee and fantastic quiches."
"I had to give 3. The venue, setting, artwork and atmosphere are brilliant (at night). Although the service was very polite they are in need of some training to put it nicely. As for the food maybe I was expecting more from the location .... The corn/pepper starter was not for me though it do look awesome, the chicken was good and the pork my partner had was good also but portion sizes between the two varied immensely. We had the mash and beans as sides, the mash was great but the beans were bland. The desserts were both good though I'd recommend the chocolate fondant over the coconut/sesame. They also had a decent wine list to go with the menu."
