"Came here for our anniversary dinner. Oysters were the best thing we ate. Beef cheeks were okay but lacking flavour, the only thing that saved it was the jus. Cod was overcooked and the bread was nothing to be desired. Hard, cold and could have done without this. Potatoes were good and needed some salt. Service was good but also felt like they were not genuine when making conversation. Not much atmosphere but maybe it was where we were seated. Seats were not comfortable either. There was no cushion behind my chair so felt like the wood was sticking into my back."

"We stayed at this hotel and got to enjoy both a full buffet breakfast and a dinner. The breakfast has quite alot of variety, more than a "standard" buffet. However, being a buffet, the hot food was luke warm. The dinner we had was absolutely beautiful! I got beef cheeks w celeriac puree, swede. My fianceé had the beef fillet. Sides ordered were duck fat potatoes, veges. Veges were a little boring, but everything else was delicious, both meats cooked to perfection. Nice venue, good location."

"1 star for venue - great location, interior design and view. 1 star for good customer service/ staff attitude. 1 star for good drinks - nice cocktail and moscato. No star for the food taste - the rare steak was blue, fish of the day was undercooked still raw at the bone, bread was hard. Waiting time for food was particular longer than expected. No star for price/value for money. Overall 3/5 stars - definitely not 2 hat restaurant in my personal experience."

"Came here for the buffet breakfast and it was very nice. The staff were extremely friendly and greeted us so we felt welcome and comfortable. They seated us at a large table/ booth and interesting decor. Generally speaking, the whole restaurant was beautifully decorated! The food options were plentiful and staff were helpful. Because it is a buffet, it is normally a bit chaotic, but it seemed like it was quite organised and orderly. You could order eggs or an omelette to be made your way (the omelette was great) and also coffee from the table. Then, in terms of buffet food, there was the hot food like scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, mushroom, tomato, a vegetarian pizza, hash browns; the international section with fried rice, congee and dumplings, as well as other Asian food; the waffles, pancakes and kids section; the cold meat and cheeses and fruits etc; different types of bread, muffins and pastries, etc. With all the choice, you’re bound to find something you like. I definitely enjoyed the experience here and would recommend it! Staff were lovely and food was good :)"
