Welcome to Woolworths Metro, located at 731-741 Military Road, Mosman. We are proud to bring you a small-format Metro store in the heart of Mosman Village.

Approved by the Land and Environment Court in late 2021, our Metro store is the result of extensive planning and consultation. Situated within the existing two-storey heritage buildings along Military Road, we are committed to preserving the charm and character of the high street atmosphere by restoring the heritage shop fronts.

Our careful consideration of the area's existing village ensures that our store seamlessly blends in while providing the community with more shopping options close to home. In May 2022, we submitted a modification application to make minor changes to the plans, which included the relocation of the rooftop plant and equipment within the building. This modification was approved in July.

We would like to express our gratitude to the community and neighbors for their engagement throughout the planning process. We are excited to deliver a well-integrated, bespoke retail store for Mosman Village, and we will keep the community informed as construction progresses.

Before the store opens in 2023, we will seek community input to help shape the range of products we offer at the new Mosman Metro. We value your feedback and want to ensure that we stock items that meet your needs and preferences.

Spanning approximately 520 sqm on the ground floor, our Metro store will also utilize the upper level for storage and team office space. This smaller format store, compared to a standard full-line supermarket, allows us to create a more intimate and convenient shopping experience for you.

Throughout the construction phase, Woolworths Group will continue to engage with the community. We will also consult with locals to gather insights and opinions on the product range we will offer as we approach the store opening in 2023.

Your feedback has played a significant role in shaping our store, which is now substantially smaller and designed to seamlessly integrate with the existing village feel of Mosman.
