"Utterly appalling service at Coles Pennant Hills this afternoon. I'm always up for a chat. A young man (Mitch) on the check out conversed with the customer before me, a young women around his age who I believe was a work colleague, then failed to greet or acknowledge me. He made no effort to pack my bag after I had unloaded its contents (I ended up repacking it all myself), didn't make the usual FlyBy's request which resulted in a very slow transaction, as he had to cancel and reload the transaction and then mumbled if I required a receipt. I said, "No" and seconds later he asked again. "No thanks mate", as I shook my head and walked away. As a business owner myself, an individual behaving like that would be frog marched out the door. Appalling experience and one I hope the store manager sees and responds to."
