"Really good food and good value. Service is really good for such a busy place. Had the seafood Penang Curry. Not quite as the authentic version but very delicious."
"If you wish to have a quick lunch, this is one of them you may consider. It’s a great deal especially with the special lunch menu! We had Turmeric, it’s delicious accompanied with several kinds of veggies and also meat, definitely no complaints. However, the Pad Thai is watery and doesn’t really taste like the traditional one:("
"Had the chicken green curry. The curry soup itself is good but the chicken and veggies are just so disconnected with the soup. Service is great. The shop echoes sound and it’s very unpleasant while dining. Maybe putting some wall decorations will help. My partner got the hokkien mie and had a minor food poisoning that night."
"Great customer service in a humble little place with great $12 lunch specials with rice. The only thing is, the flavours have become less authentic with time. Both the chicken ginger and the tofu green curry were too sugary sweet with little depth or kick. Still, if you like your Thai food simple tasting and sweet, then this is a great choice and one of the best-value places on King St for lunch with well presented dishes and good portions. There is a balcony upstairs that can fit 2 to 4 people."
"Ordered through DoorDash and we were quite disappointed with the food. I’m not sure if it’s better when dining in the restaurant, but the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew were sad to look at: there were barely anything else than noodles. The Pad Thai had only a couple bean sprouts, and the Pad See Ew didn’t have the nice char on the noodles. They were also a bit bland. The stir fried chili basil fish had a tasty sauce, but the fish was tough and rubbery, and the coconut rice was over-cooked and mushy. The only highlight was the Tom yum mushroom, which was really tasty. All in all, I had higher expectations after reading the reviews. The food was edible but not great. Would maybe try dining-in but would probably not order to deliver again."
