"There is a website/system issue where a cancelled booking isn't released yet to rebook the same cabin online. Also some of the deals and prices on the website are different to the prices phone staff can see on their system (or at least they choose not to offer the cheapest prices over the phone). The lady I spoke to on the phone either just couldn't understand this or pretended that I couldn't book a better deal online than what she was offering, I was trying to explain the system issues but she simply would not listen, and later hung up on me quite rudely. Either way, a terrible experience. I'd give this particular call 1 star but overall the deals and service provided is generally good."
"As a general rule, Cruise Guru offer the BEST value prices on pretty much all brands of cruises. The booking process is very easy, either on the phone or online and the follow up is always efficient including reminders of when and how to pay the balance on time and without any extra charges. The only small - and I DO mean small issue, which makes a travel agent better to deal with, is their lack of information regarding visas required and similar documentation requirements. However, that is a small price to pay for the huge price advantage and if you have a small amount of active brain, you can easily seek out that information yourself anyway."

"I have 5 cruises with 4 different cruise lines booked from April 2024 to February 2025 with Cruise Guru, as for all of these they were the best price and had more On Board Credit than the cruise lines or another travel agent that I have regularly used. I have 2 others in December 2023 and March 2025 booked direct through the cruise lines as their early bookings were an equal price. Booking through Cruise Guru was very easy."
