Welcome to Sal's Authentic New York Pizza in Brunswick East, Australia's only place to experience 100% authentic New York pizza. Located on Kirkdale Street, our establishment is not only a point of interest but also a food haven for pizza enthusiasts.
At Sal's, we have been fortunate enough to learn a secret family recipe from a legendary pizza maker, Salvatore Leo. We have spent years perfecting his well-guarded pizza making techniques to bring you the most authentic New York pizza experience possible.
What sets us apart is the authenticity of our ingredients. We import all of our base ingredients directly from New York, ensuring that you can only find them at Sal's. Our slow-risen dough is made with genuine New York Milled Hard Spring Wheat Flour, giving it the perfect texture to fold. It's crispy on the outside, yet light, tender, and airy on the inside.
The secret to our delicious tomato sauce lies in Sal's famous recipe, made fresh daily using vine-ripened California tomatoes. We also take pride in using 100% premium Wisconsin Mozzarella, produced from the highest quality milk sourced from sustainably farmed "happy cows."
When it comes to toppings, Sal's is the exclusive home of Famous New York Pepperoni and Italian Meatballs. Our Chicken Buffalo Wings are made using the authentic "Original 1964 Buffalo" recipe, ensuring a taste that will transport you straight to New York.
Salvatore Leo's journey began in 1941 in the southern Italian town of Corato. At a young age, he was sent to live with family in New York, where he discovered his talent for pizza making. Sal's passion for pizza led him to work at Corato Pizza in Queens, where he honed his skills.

We lit the oven out of desperation to try and breathe life into this disgusting mess, only to find out it looked better than it tasted. Then they were only open for delivery on 2 days a week despite being open all days. When we managed to get an order in they accepted TWO uber eats orders despite not being open. We waited over an 1.5 hours only to discover that 2 separate drivers went to the store to collect our order and the store was closed. It's an absolute joke and I do not recommend it."
