"Absolutely Outstanding! So glad this stunning and gorgeous cinema is less than 10 mins from home! It is beyond outstanding and absolutely the best!!! I just got home from watching 9pm evening session of 'Sound of Freedom'! Absolute MUST SEE!!!! Had a wonderful experience. Thankyou."
"Ticket prices are reasonable but where this cinema stands out is the seating. The seats are spacious and extremely comfortable, reclining with plenty of room in-between rows for people to get past even with the seat fully reclined. There is also an inbuilt cup holder and a cute swing out table in each seat. Will definitely be using this cinema as my go to in the future"
"Didn't mind the movie. But man, went for a walk afterwards and management and staff should organise better disposal of rubbish. Bins weren't even full and bag after bag, popcorn and softdrink cups all over the place, lift ya game management of Readings Cinema.."
"Great cinema! One of the best compared to any of the other chains, have always liked the Reading cinemas. Very comfortable seats, great screens and great sound. Have been to almost all of the screens they offer, and all have been the same in cleanliness and quality."
"Had a very negative experience which is extremely disappointing. My family and I, (group of 7) had booked a late showing at 9.15 alongside food. On arrival to the cinema I initially overlooked the poor state of the foyer and corridor leading up to the theatres as after all it was no doubt a very busy Good Friday, unfortunately the experience went down hill from there. When receiving our tickets, i was informed by Thomas that to collect food I’d receive a text. I did query this as I’d booked online with my English mobile number. Thomas said it was fine and even went to check. He was 100% sure it would work… We went into the cinema, watched the trailers and started the film. It got to 10pm and I hadn’t received a text so my mum and I decided to check where to food was. We walked to the counter and was presented after a small wait $100+ of cold food. We obviously declined the food and queried why we’d not received a text and was asked to show our phones as proof. We were then informed the kitchen was closed and therefore my 3 children under 10 and the rest of the party had to go without food. I asked for a refund which was given although I’m not 100% sure we received the full amount back but I had to ask for some popcorn as a gesture of good will for the children. Thomas throughout our exchange was very defensive, making out that it was our fault that the text hadn’t come through even though we’d queried this earlier. He was very condescending towards my mother, even stating she was shouting. Yes we were cross and upset but raised voices is not our style. He had to ask for assistance from another member of staff to obtain our order for a refund and was very dismissive when we asked for a third bag of popcorn for the children in the group - stating ‘you only had to ask’. When asked for a contact for complaints he referred us to the website… I ultimately had to spell it out we wanted him to do the decent thing and provide us with actual written info on how to this which he did provide. Ultimately a very disappointing experience. It was an Easter treat for visitors from the UK, especially for the three children and Thomas was extremely unhelpful in the circumstances. As someone who works in customer services myself I would suggest Thomas needs additional training on how to deal with unfortunate situations and I would also suggest that front of house staff work hard to maintain the premises even during busy periods."
