"I recently took my Shih Tzu puppy for a grooming service at this facility. Initially, I was informed that the service would cost between $85 to $95 over the phone. I accepted the charges, signed the required documents, and was notified that some additional cost maybe required due to tangled fur. However, I was surprised and disappointed when I received the final bill. The grooming service cost was $95, which was at the higher end of the quote, but more distressing was the categorization of my pet as a 'medium-sized' dog. My Shih Tzu, who measures less than 20cm high, should ideally be classified as a small or even a toy dog based on common standards, where medium-sized dogs are typically 40-50cm. Moreover, I was charged an additional $50 for 'matting,' which was not clarified to me before or during the service. This increased my bill to a total of $145. Communication is key in any service industry, and it's unfortunate that this was not achieved in this instance. I felt blindsided by these extra charges, which were not explained to me initially or justified adequately. I hope this feedback serves to improve your communication with future clients."
