Reviews
"I recently had the pleasure of dining at spiced @ barangaroo where I embarked on a delightful culinary journey through the flavors of Indian cuisine The menu boasted a wide array of traditional Indian dishes, each with its own unique twist. I opted for the classic Chicken Xaccuti and a side of fragrant saffron The service at spiced @ barangaroo was impeccable, with the staff being well-versed in explaining the origins of each dish and suggesting suitable pairings. To round off my meal, I couldn't resist indulging in a serving of traditional Indian dessert, Gulab Jamun and chakundar ka halwa(beetroot) Must try dum ka jheenga, lamb chops and beef short ribs as entree Mains:chicken xaccuti, Kadai chicken. Veg nilgiri korma, nalli nihari MUST TRY COCTAILS (VINDALOO MARGARITA AND DIRTY MANGO LASI)"
"My husband and I visited here on a Wednesday afternoon for an unexpected birthday lunch. All the food we ordered were delicious and authentic, especially the spiced prawn entree and the coconut chicken curry! The waiters are friendly and helpful but the service can improve as they weren’t very attentive to the tables. We will be back for more tasty food!"
"Went to this restaurant for the first time with my husband and family. The food was delicious and tasted authentic - everything was good except the butter chicken and goat biryani - the butter chicken tasted like it catered to white people with lots of sugar in it and the goat biryani honestly tasted like kashmiri red chilli powder and had no flavour besides that. We enjoyed the dirty mango lassi (alcoholic), chicken kadhai (with coconut), prawn masala, chicken tikka (one of our fav entrees), chicken saag (spinach based gravy) and cheese naan. The atmosphere is nice too especially at night time by the water and lights. We will be back, but next time will try other dishes as well. It was a hit and a miss but do recommend trying the dishes we liked."
"Vivid on a friday full of humans was starting to feel like a nightmare UNTIL we found this place. Unlike most of the options in the area it was nice to see it wasn't ridiculously priced so definitely giving points for that. Veg options available also great since we walked the whole night looking for foooood (and I'm cranky when I'm hungry, actually aren't we all?) Would come back."
"The food used to be amazing. We've visited many times since 2018, but it seems like the quality and taste has gone down hill recently, and price have gone up drastically. All the curry's taste very bland. Most local Indian takeway shops do much better. The server mentioned that they've changed chefs. Don't waste your money. There are much better and cheaper options in the city. So dissapointing."
