"i’ve genuinely never been so shocked at how a company can run things the way they do. we had a booking at 12:30 for a birthday event. there was quite a few of us. after sitting down for some time we were approached by a staff member explaining they had no till so they had to take our orders on a piece of paper. originally that was okay as things happen, we can work around it but after messing around with that for quite some time we were then told after ordering our drinks that there was no soft drink available and we could only have coke no sugar. more time passes by (we are the only people sitting inside the venue) the staff approach us again claiming they lost our orders and we had to all walk upstairs to pay for them there. now not only was this all a joke as it was, we wait almost an hour for our food to collectively come out (the chefs were on their phones half of the time) the dumplings were half raw & half burnt, the parmis were tiny, smaller then peoples hands (i attached photo for reference), the loaded fries literally came out of the microwave AND after half of the group finished their meals we were told they didn’t have anymore schnitzel to feed the rest of us. at this point it’s 2pm and we have all had enough. a few people got refunds which is fine, but this is hands down the most poor experience i’ve had in a restaurant that’s supposed to be really high quality. there was absolutely no music, just dead silence. it was awkward. i do feel bad for the two staff members who were working on the floor, as i can imagine the pressure on them but something like this can’t be not spoken of. i hope other groups can save their time and money."
"The food was pretty good. But the service was terrible. We were shown to our table and that’s where service ended. We were given menus but no other communication, so we didn’t know if it was table service or via QR code. No water, no instructions. Eventually we tried via the app but most of the menu items didn’t exist on the app. So we went out of our way to ask a waitress and she told us to simply go up and order outside at the bar. After waiting 5 mins we eventually placed our order. The chicken Caesar salad came with no chicken. We had to complain and then they cooked some chicken and brought it out. A cocktail we ordered never arrived, after 40 minutes. I had to go get a refund because we were going home. The pork ribs came with fries which wasn’t mentioned on the menu, so we wasted $14 getting a side of fries. I won’t go back."
"Food was amazing, delicious, well seasoned and nice and freshly cooked. Pizza was the best! Thats where good points end. Service was non existant. Every request was met with attitude, from asking for extra water glasses, to taking our order at the table. We were possibly one of two tables in the whole place, yet we were given the smallest table and absolutely no attention. It was our office staff lunch and we won't be back."
"Ok. Man, I hate bad reviews. So, first up - the three staff we interacted with were all friendly and helpful.. No complaints there. However, we were asked to seat ourselves. No instructions were given. We sat at the top of the grounds near the bar. There was the ubiquitous QR with an NFC tag on the table for the menu, so we figure it's de rigueur to place your own order. The table was physically large, so to make things easy I set up a tab - which required a payment of a nominated amount. Fair enough. Paid that. Once we finished adding drinks to the cart and sent off that order (figuring the ticket would go to the bar behind us) we discovered there was no food on this menu.... Sigh. So, it's not busy..a little time passes and we get some help from a staff member. Which leads on to another staff member. We're told that system isn't running, however we discover it had yanked money from our account - then it turns out the ticket arrived. Right. Found inkjet and stapled menus up near the pizza hut. Ok, weird start. But hey, all's good, no need to act like someone in an Audi waiting more than 3 min in a McDonald's drive thru. We're chill and celebrating an 18th birthday. Right, we speed read the menu, two pork ribs , two salt and pepper squid and some chicken bites - and table fries as apparently some items have no sides. $138.04 plus $101.00 for the drinks tab. We're in for $240.00 for a family of 5. Nothing crazy, but should be a nice meal. Maybe we should have tried the pizzas. I'm not going to sit here and flame the meal, but it wasn't what you'd expect. Not for the cost. In the end we thought we'd just drink the remaining tab value. The drinks took ages. I think the poor fella at the bar is probably having a hard time taking orders, making cocktails and being a point for other patrons to ask where their meal was. We have visited this joint since it was Rojo Rocket back in the day, I'm hoping whoever is running the place can dig deep and bring back the good days"
"The palace is so cool, good vibe nice environment. The food overall is not bad: pizza is good and fires are great. Staffs are so helpful and friendly. The one thing is we ordered the chocolate pizza but it didn’t served!! We just realized after we left. 15%percent surcharge is a lot during holiday break."
